Strolling along the streets of “Little India” in Penang, you’ll discover a wondrous enclave of Indian culture, with some of the best Indian spices you can find in South East Asia. In this hands-on Indian cooking class, we’ll explore the rich culture of Malaysian Indian cuisine, preparing dishes from scratch in our high-rise home with breathtaking bird’s-eye views of Penang. The class includes a highlight visit to Penang’s busiest wet market, and an authentic breakfast at a local kopitiam (coffee shop), just like how the locals would enjoy it. The 3 hand-picked dishes you’ll be learning – roti naan, aloo gobi and tandoori chicken- are taken from Chef Samuel’s personal selection of fail-proof Indian recipes.
